About Us: Who We Are and Why We Fight

New Hope Advocacy began with a simple truth: when you’re raising a child with a disability, you become an advocate long before you’re ready. You learn to speak up in rooms where decisions are made about your child’s future. You learn to push back when systems fall short. You learn to carry hope even on the days when everything feels heavy.

We are parents who have lived that reality. We’ve sat in IEP meetings, waited on call lists, fought for services, and navigated the maze of supports that should be easier to access. We’ve felt the fear, the frustration, the exhaustion — and the fierce love that keeps us going.

New Hope Advocacy exists to make sure no family has to do this alone.
